Rhinos Fighting

Now that I've had more time to edit the footage (I originally posted a shorted video back in August), here's a 4 minute video of two rhinos going head to head in the Sabi Sands Game Reserve. As if African wild animals don't have enough to contend with just finding enough food and not being slaughtered for their horns, they also fight each other over territory.

As you cab see, both had had their horns removed as part of a determined move to put poachers out of business. That said, one rhino had more of a stump than the other but, even so, he eventually gave up and ran off - pursued for maybe half a kilometre by what I assume was the resident male.

Our photos don't really capture the scene that well because both animals were moving quite quickly and were emitting thunderous grunts and a series of squeals which was quite alarming coming from such large large animals as they bashed each other in the face.
